The End of the Trump–Musk Bromance and the Whisper of the Epstein Files

By: Sahr Ahmed There was a time not long ago when Donald Trump and Elon Musk—two of the world’s loudest and most watched figures—seemed to be on the same wavelength. It wasn’t exactly a friendship, but their alliance had a certain flair. Musk, who had once been sharply critical of Trump, took a surprising turn: he publicly supported Trump’s re-election bid, even put serious money behind it, and unofficially led a “Department of Government Efficiency.” Trump, in turn, praised Musk’s intellect and outsider mindset. For a moment, it looked like the ultimate disruptor duo. Now, that alliance appears to be completely shattered. From Big Beautiful Bills to Big Public Blows: Things took a turn when Congress rolled out a massive spending bill. Trump, proud of what he called a big, beautiful bill, was ready to celebrate a legislative win. Musk? Not so much. He blasted the bill online, calling it a “disgusting abomination” filled with waste and “pork.” He urged his followers to pressure l...

Celebrating Teacher's Day- Honoring the Pillars of Education

By- Sahr Ahmed

The Significance of September 5th:

Teacher’s Day is a special occasion celebrated on the

5th of September each year in India to acknowledge teachers and

their untiring efforts in developing and shaping our lives.

This day has special importance not only in India but in the

entire world where teachers are honored for their part in molding

the students.

Teacher’s Day is observed in India on the fifth of September as it is

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birth anniversary was a great

philosopher, scholar, and the second President of India.

Dr. Radhakrishnan was an educationist and a professor of

excellence who devoted his entire life to improving the

standard of education and elevating the status of teachers in

the country. He still is a great inspiration to everyone, especially

to educational institutions as a result, his birthday is the best day

on which teachers should be honored.

Why We Celebrate Teacher's Day:

Acknowledging Teachers’ Impact:

Teachers play an important role and are viewed as mentors who are directly

responsible for the future of their students. What role do they play in the

students’ lives? They are not only teachers but also role models, tutors, and

motivators who guide and encourage learners. Teacher’s Day is a chance we

should grab and celebrate them, and thank them for the service they have given

for years.

 Celebrating the Art of Teaching:

Teaching is not only a profession but an art that demands love, care, empathy,

compassion, and feeling. Teacher’s Day highlights the need for this art and

the role that educators have in cultivating thinking abilities, imagination, and

ethical standards of students.

 Promoting Respect and Appreciation:

Teachers are always honored in many cultures. Teachers Day is a reminder of how

important we should value teachers who have dedicated many years of their lives to

imparting knowledge to so many people. It encourages the culture of acknowledging

teachers and at the same time discourages society from undervaluing teachers.

 Encouraging Professional Development:

Teachers’ Day celebration also allows discussion of matters concerning the professional

development of teachers. Teachers require constant training and development

which enables them to learn more about the current practices and technologies in the

education sector.

 Strengthening the Teacher-Student Bond:

Teacher’s Day is the perfect time for students to show their appreciation and gratitude

to their teachers. Also, it helps in developing a strong bond between the teachers and

students and promotes healthy learning.

Ways to Celebrate Teacher’s Day:

Organize Special Events:

Teacher’s Day is celebrated in schools and other institutions through seminars,

workshops, and other cultural activities. These events allow students and colleagues

to express their very important appreciation and gratitude.

Give Thoughtful Gifts:

Students and parents often present teachers with thoughtful tokens of appreciation.

Giving personalized gifts, handwritten notes, or small tokens of gratitude can go a

long way in showing how much teachers are valued.

Share Stories and Messages:

Social media can be used to spread the word through stories, messages, or even

testimonials to showcase what impact the teachers have made in their learners’ lives.

It’s an amazing way to acknowledge their contributions.

Encourage Professional Growth:

This includes supporting causes that enhance the professional development of teachers.

This includes training, workshops, or providing materials that may assist them in

improving their competencies.

Teacher’s Day cannot be considered solely as a joyful event but rather as an important

opportunity to recall the significance of teachers in schools and our everyday life, and

to express gratitude to them. On this day we should not forget that we owe so much to

individuals who spend their lives invoking the future generation.
