Teacher’s Day is observed in India on the fifth of September as it is

Why We Celebrate Teacher's Day:
Acknowledging Teachers’ Impact:
Teachers play an important role and are viewed as mentors who are directly
responsible for the future of their students. What role do they play in the
students’ lives? They are not only teachers but also role models, tutors, and
motivators who guide and encourage learners. Teacher’s Day is a chance we
should grab and celebrate them, and thank them for the service they have given
for years.
Celebrating the Art of Teaching:
Teaching is not only a profession but an art that demands love, care, empathy,
compassion, and feeling. Teacher’s Day highlights the need for this art and
the role that educators have in cultivating thinking abilities, imagination, and
ethical standards of students.
Promoting Respect and Appreciation:
Teachers are always honored in many cultures. Teachers Day is a reminder of how
important we should value teachers who have dedicated many years of their lives to
imparting knowledge to so many people. It encourages the culture of acknowledging
teachers and at the same time discourages society from undervaluing teachers.
Encouraging Professional Development:
Teachers’ Day celebration also allows discussion of matters concerning the professional
development of teachers. Teachers require constant training and development
which enables them to learn more about the current practices and technologies in the
education sector.
Strengthening the Teacher-Student Bond:
Teacher’s Day is the perfect time for students to show their appreciation and gratitude
to their teachers. Also, it helps in developing a strong bond between the teachers and
students and promotes healthy learning.

Social media can be used to spread the word through stories, messages, or even
testimonials to showcase what impact the teachers have made in their learners’ lives.
It’s an amazing way to acknowledge their contributions.
